OneEvent Technologies, a trailblazer in developing life safety systems and electronic building intelligence (EBI), will attend and exhibit at the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International Conference and Expo June 25–28 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

BOMA International’s annual convention attracts successful property managers and facility management professionals from all over the U.S. and the world. The expo also will host more than 250 exhibitors from cutting-edge companies across the building industry. Tall building for National Building Safety Monthboma-2016-logo

At Booth 1412, OneEvent will tout its groundbreaking Sentinel operating System (SoS) and other innovations that have drawn considerable interest from building owners and managers, industry associations, and insurers nationwide.

OneEvent’s SoS alerts building owners and managers when fire or other hazards endanger their properties and lives. The SoS monitors temperature, humidity, motion and other variable factors, sending a constant stream of real-time data into the cloud that’s easily accessible from a smartphone, tablet or computer. The SoS uses embedded behavioral pattern algorithms to learn about a building’s occupants, environment and routines, enabling it to predict which events are actually dangerous.

The SoS is particularly useful in monitoring urban buildings’ energy storage systems, often powered by lithium ion batteries that carry a risk of overheating and causing a fire or explosion. Read one of our recent blog posts about energy storage systems here.

“Building owners and managers recognize the potential of our technology,” says Kurt Wedig, OneEvent Co-Founder, President and CEO. “This is the perfect opportunity to show how our SoS will revolutionize building safety in the next decade and beyond. We look forward to attending this important industry event.”

OneEvent will share its booth with strategic partner eBICard, a cooperative emergency management tool that allows building owners to share their building’s information with first responders so they can be better equipped to respond to a catastrophic event.

OneEvent’s SoS is available for installation in select U.S. markets. To learn more about OneEvent Technologies and the future of electronic building intelligence, visit oneeventtechnologies.com.
