OneEvent Technologies, an industry innovator of life safety systems, will be attending and exhibiting at the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Conference & Expo June 13-16 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center on the famous Las Vegas Strip.
OneEvent will be in Booth 1500 during the convention — regarded as the most comprehensive fire safety sector convention for a variety of professionals, including architects, engineers, building managers, public and private fire services, enforcement agencies, insurers and utilities. The company will be touting its groundbreaking Sentinel operating System (SoS) that has drawn much interest from fire safety officials, industry associations, building owners and managers, and insurers nationwide.
OneEvent’s SoS alerts property owners when fire or other hazards endanger their businesses, homes and lives. It monitors temperature, humidity, motion and other variable factors, sending a constant stream of real-time data into the cloud that’s easily accessible from a smartphone, tablet or computer. The SoS utilizes embedded behavioral pattern algorithms to learn about a building’s occupants, environment and routines, which helps it predict which events are truly a threat.
OneEvent will be sharing its booth with strategic partner eBICard, a cooperative emergency management tool that allows building owners to share their building’s information with first responders so they can be better equipped to respond to a catastrophic event.
Since the company’s inception, OneEvent has enjoyed a strong relationship with the NFPA. Nathaniel Lin, the NFPA’s Director of Data Strategy and Analytics, serves on OneEvent’s board directors.
“The NFPA Conference & Expo is the premier event in the fire and life safety industry,” said Kurt Wedig, OneEvent Co-Founder, President and CEO. “We look forward to meeting attendees and demonstrating the potential of OneEvent’s solution, as well as being part of such a prestigious conference that brings together the thought leaders of our industry.”
OneEvent’s SoS is available for installation in select U.S. markets. Learn more about OneEvent Technologies and the future of fire and life safety here.
