Greg Baldauf, Vice President of Sales & Business Development, recently became the newest OneEvent staff member. We’re honored to have Greg join our team. Here are some fun facts about him.
Hometown: Born in Gary, Ind., but have been in the Indianapolis area for the past 25 years. I also lived in downtown Chicago, Orlando, and Topeka, Kan., for short periods of time.
College: Indiana University – Go Hoosiers!
Where else have you worked? BriefCam, an Israeli-based video surveillance software as a service company; Ingersoll Rand/Schlage, where I started the Nexia Home Intelligence connected home platform; and Thomson Consumer, known for the RCA & GE brands of consumer electronics.
Hobbies: Woodworking, fantasy football and golf (although I go mainly to drink and smoke cigars)
Favorite food: Meat
Favorite drink(s): Tea, bourbon and beer
Something most people don’t know about you: I invented the first wireless residential door lock controllable with your cell phone. I recently built a large chicken coop to support 15 chickens for an inner-city school in Indianapolis. I was a Jungle Cruise Boat Captain in Disney World for a summer.
What excites you about working at OneEvent? The predictive analytics technology has the chance to change and completely disrupt multiple IoT markets!
What is your favorite or can’t-live-without technology? Hate to admit this, but my phone. My second favorite is electronic locks for the house – granted, I invented them, so I’m biased.
